The 4S 1A Active Balancer Equalizer is designed for 12V LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) and NCM (Nickel Cobalt Manganese) LiFePO4 battery packs. This efficient balance board ensures optimal energy distribution across the cells, maintaining voltage balance and improving battery performance and longevity. It works by monitoring the voltage difference between adjacent cells and equalizing them when necessary. Please note that this balancer should be used with a BMS (Battery Management System) protection board.

• Applicable Batteries:

  • NCM (Li-ion)
  • LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate)
  • Not compatible with LTO batteries.

• Single Battery Voltage: 3.0V - 4.2V

• Suggested Battery Capacity:

  • For batteries under 30AH
  • For batteries above 30AH, use model B096NLHXPF.

• Voltage Balance Accuracy: 30mV (typical) between adjacent battery voltages.

• Balance Method:

  • Detects a voltage difference greater than 0.1V between adjacent cells to trigger the equalization process.
  • Stops balancing when the voltage difference is less than 0.03V.

• Balance Current:

  • 0.5A balance current for a voltage difference of 0.1V.
  • Maximum balance current of 1.2A for a voltage difference above 0.2V.

• Under-voltage Protection Dormant Voltage:

  • The balance board enters dormant mode when the voltage difference between adjacent cells is less than 0.03V.

• Static Working Current: 0.01mA.

Balance Indication:

• Balance Indicator ON: Balancing is active and working.
• Balance Indicator OFF: Balance circuit is in sleep mode.
• Flashing Balance Indicator: Indicates either cell drop or circuit fault.

Note:

• To connect the balance cable, insert it obliquely, starting with the "B-" pin to prevent potential damage to the board.

Wiring:

• B-: Total negative pole of the battery pack (the negative pole of the first battery).
• B1: Positive pole of the first battery.
• B2: Positive pole of the second battery.
• B3: Positive pole of the third battery.
• B4: Positive pole of the fourth battery.
• B5...: Continuing for additional battery connections.
